Companies often have major opportunities to improve production planning. Expensive systems such as SAP or Manugistics have often been implemented in a rush. Processes and parameters may not have been properly set up or people properly trained to get the most from the system.
LCA has experienced planning staff with the ability to improve current processes and systems. In most cases, this will mean better leveraging existing systems which are not delivering the benefits that justified the original investment.
We have knowledge of all leading systems and are able to deploy teams for a few days to form an early view on the potential improvements that are possible.
Where clients do not have adequate systems available, we work with them to either develop ‘fit for purpose’ bespoke and affordable solutions or to identify and implement the most appropriate off-the-shelf applications.
