Warehouse Design
Effective warehouses are designed from the inside out.
Many businesses make the mistake of approaching an architect as the initial step in building a warehouse. Unless the architect is extremely well versed in logistics requirements, the resulting design will almost certainly be sub-optimal – undermining operational performance, increasing cost, or both!
The better approach is to have an experienced logistician apply industry knowledge to develop the initial design and specification. This can be a very quick process – after which the design is handed over to the architect for detailing.
